Umm.. I only have a few minutes to write this entry so I guess I'll make it brief.
Jason came to see me before CS 320 today. I didn't expect him to come at all. He usually comes only on Wednesdays and Fridays cos on Mondays he has to work on the homework for his Calculus class which will be collected that day. But today, he turned 21.. We're not doing anything today (I have to work and since I called-in yesterday, I don't think I can do that again today), but we already celebrated last Saturday. I gave him his presents then, which he wore this morning (except for the watch because it still needs to get adjusted, like me, he has tiny wrists). I guess we will go out this weekend and celebrate some more. I don't know.. Doesn't it just suck to have your 21st birthday fall on a Monday?
Anyhow, the weekend before last I got to meet some of his coworkers for the very first time. We went to Walt's (this sports bar and grill on Picadilly Square, on the corner of Central and Rock Road) cos they were all meeting there to celebrate a couple of promotions. We came and I met this guy Brian, which I know a little bit about from the stories that Jason tells me. He's an artist. He creates tattoo art. He isn't a tattoo artist himself, but he makes the drawings that the actual tattoo artist puts on people's skin.
Guess what. A few days later, I get an email from him asking me out. Well, he asked if Jason and I were an "item" (which is such a gay-ass word, I mean, I never thought I'd hear a straight male say that, it's sound so tabloid-gossip-columny) too and then he asked if I wanted to do something and gave me his house number.. Weird, huh? I don't know. I guess I was a little too pleasant to him when we met. I declined, though, telling him more than he probably anticipated. And I have not heard from him since.
He's really cute, and so I felt bad (just a little bit) about saying 'no' and passing up that opportunity (I mean, if you have any inkling at all of what I'm like, you know that I don't pass anything up, I give everyone a chance, except for the Barry-types, of course).. So I declined in a good way, hoping that maybe I could gain a "friend" out of this.
I wrote him back a really friendly email telling him exactly how I feel about Jason and that we could probably double (go on a double date or what not -- not like that you sick, sick person -- get your mind out of the gutter) if he wanted. He could even bring that Filipina girl Tip (his own pseudo-stalker, who calls him "once a month for the stupidest reasons" just to see how he's doing) that he mentioned that Saturday night when we spoke at Walt's (we sat right by each other, kinda).
Other than that, not much is new.
I finished this project for the Radiaton collaborative webring that I've joined since the demise of 32 Flavors.
This guy Paul, who I met at that T95 breakfast last February sent me two free movie passes which I have yet to redeem/use. He had passes to the Korn-kage, too. Yeah, Korn came and played Wichita. I was working that night, though. That, and tickets were sol-out, not to mention expensive. So I didn't really anticipate going. Paul was going to give me a pass, but I checked my email too late. Story of my life..
I saw Go (finally) at the Warren. It's pretty cool. The blonde girl who plays Ronna has nice breasts -- well, they looked nice in her bra. I told Eli I went to see that movie, and he just had to ask about Katie Holmes. I didn't know what her name was, but I'd seen her on magazines and TV and stuff so I figured he was talking about the Dawson's Creek girl. She looks cute. I like the other girl better though, but I don't know who she is.
Oh, yeah.. Lindsey gave me one of her senior pictures so I will be posting that here. Since people were giving out senior pictures, my friend Nyla (I know I've mentioned him a lot in the past, but you still don't have a face to attach to the name) was giving them out to soo I asked for one thinking that he hadn't given me one yet. When I put those picture in the box yesterday, guess what I found.. Two other senior pictures of Nyla. I am soo goddamn forgetful. I don't know what is up. They're all three different poses, though, so that's cool. At least they're not duplicates. I'll post them here with Lindsey's photo in the next entry or so.. I don't know.. We'll see.
